We are delighted to announce that Imogen Parkes from one of our Surrey based Super 1s programmes was recently awarded the Inspire Award at the Lord’s Taverners Super 1s Celebration evening.

Imogen Parkes collects an award

Imogen’s remarkable journey of personal growth through cricket has been truly inspiring. Despite facing challenges with Autism and ADHD, her passion for the sport, ignited by Surrey and England cricketer Alice Capsey, led her to embrace cricket through Super 1s. Her involvement has helped her build confidence, make friends, and develop as a player while also championing women and girls in sport.

In a first for the Inspire Awards, Imogen’s mum, Steph, was also presented with the award in recognition of her unwavering support and contributions, including taking part in a Support Coach course to enable her to help at training. Their story is a testament to the power of cricket to transform lives and inspire others.
